Johannes and I are so excited about this upcoming year. We strongly believe that God is going to do a great work in our ministry, but more importantly in your children this year. Can I just say what a privilege and an honor it is to have the opportunity to pour into your children on a weekly basis! We are thrilled to be where we are. Thank you for trusting us with your children. Johannes and I don't have children yet, but I know that when we do we are going to be very selective about who gets to invest in our children. I know that many of you feel the same way. So, like I said, thank you for trusting us. We do not take this ministry lightly. We strongly believe that Children's Ministry should NEVER be a glorified baby-sitting service.
I read an article once about children's ministry and it was stressing the importance of prayerfully leading children's ministry. The author of the article made this statement and it shook me to my core, "It is better to BUILD boys and girls than it is to REPAIR men and women." We adopted that as our mission statement in PassionKids. We are trusted to help BUILD Godly boys and girls on the foundation laid by the parents so that 15 years down the road they don't have to be REPAIRED. So, again, we are so excited about what God is doing in PassionKids and we are THRILLED that you are a part of it with us.
