Our History
Passion remained a dream for several years. The idea of establishing a church with a truly Pentecostal expression on the NW side of Oklahoma City had been in the heart of Steve and Julie Ely since 2003. At the time it seemed like only a faint possibility. However, over the course of several years of developing relationships and continuing to serve, God put together a team of individuals who were willing to pay the price to make this dream a reality. After much prayer and counsel, the Passion team gathered in January of 2007 and began laying plans for the launch of Passion.
Passion launched on August 26th, 2007! After meeting in an event center for 6 months, Passion moved into its current location at 6220 NW Expressway.
