PRACTICALLY
We believe in passionate times of praise and worship. These times are intense, deep, full of life and will assist people in encountering God.
We believe in protecting the “flow” of the Holy Spirit. We will not hurry. We will not break the “flow” for unnecessary activities.
We believe that the Word of God is the primary source for wisdom, directions, correction and nourishment.
We believe in direct, bold, passionate, and relevant delivery of the Word of God.
We believe that there should be ample opportunities to interact with God in response to worship and the Word.
We believe that the creative power of God continues to operate and enable us to be uniquely innovative.
We believe that our ministry times will be marked by open, and obvious displays of God’s power and anointing.
We believe that interpersonal relationships are imperative for personal growth and ministry.
We believe in stewardship in every area of life.
We believe that children and young people are two of our highest priorities; therefore, we will provide quality ministry for them.
We believe that we are not only called to impact, but also called to improve the community in which we are divinely established.
We believe in biblical church government consisting of five-fold ministry leaders and eldership.
THEOLOGICALLY
That the Bible is the inspired Word of God and authoritative to us today in all manner of life and faith (2 Timothy 3:16)
In the Triune God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19, 1 John 2:22-24, John 14:16-17; 26).
In the total depravity of man and his inability to save himself. (Romans 3:23)
In the born-again experience as received by grace through faith in the name of Jesus. (John 3:3-7, Acts 4:12, Ephesians 2:8-9)
That genuine salvation is evidenced by a changed life being lived out in the world in which we live. (2 Corithinans 5:17)
In divine healing as part of the atonement (Isaiah 53:4-5, Matthew 8:16-17, James 5:14-16).
In the imminent return of Jesus Christ. (1 Thessalonians 4:15-18, Titus 2:13, 2 Peter 1:3-4)
In sanctification that is initiated in regeneration and consummation in glorification. In includes a definite, instantaneous work of grace achieved by faith subsequent to regeneration (Acts 26:18, 1 John 1: 9). Sanctification delivers from the power and dominion of sin. It is followed by life-long growth in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. (2 Corithians 4:16, 2 Peter 3:18)
That the Baptism in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues is for every born-again believer (Acts 1:8, 2:1-4)
In the operation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit to profit and build up the Body of Christ. (Romans 12:5-8, 1 Corinthians 12:4-10, Ephesians 4:11)
In the support of the local church through attendance, tithes and offerings. (Malachi 3:10, 2 Corinthians 9:6-8)
In spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. (Matthew 28:19-20)
That the fundamental truths of historic Christianity must be conveyed in a manner that does not compromise the Gospel in any fashion, but makes it deeply relevant to the needs of our generation. (Acts 13:36)
